In a sense, Cloning has it's pros and cons. We could use cloning to sustain species population and prevent them from going extinct. On the other hand, Cloning could be used on Humans Along with Genetic Engineering to Create Obedient Super Soldiers. Now the Obedience is bound to vary from clone to clone even if their genetic makeup is exactly the same. The proper Genetic Engineering can make the clone faster, stronger, more intelligent, and make almost any change you could imagine. However, you have to take into account the more intelligent they are made, the harder it will be to control them. An entire Army of Super Soldiers could be created sometime in the future at very little cost. No Original Citizens would be lost, It would be as if we created and programmed several robots. While depending on your views the former statement could be viewed as a pro or a con, An outright con is that any other country with the proper technology could do the same thing.

So, In conclusion, Yes Cloning could be dangerous for the future, But I do not believe that it should stop us from progessing the technology when there are so many benefits to be had. I do not have much time so I shortly summed up what i could, There are infinite Pros to Genetic Enginerring and Cloning is an Essential pillar of that. I hope you found my answer useful.

Cloning will eventually lead to the cloning of brainless body parts and bodiless brains. It would be cheaper that way.It would be cheaper to clone a thousand perfect hearts than clone the entire body (faster too),
