When people write a blog they often seem to describe it as "the rantings of a crazy..." or "the daily adventures of an insane" or "the crazy thoughts of a strange mind" and so on and so on? I am just currious, if there are so many strange minds...how can they be crazy?

Because the authors anticipate some of the negative reactions from the readers. While some will like it, others will hate it. I guess it's a way of addressing the insecurity about possible reader reactions.
Also, we tend to get caught up in our own drama. Our lives are important to us, so our losses become tragedies and our conflicts feel like wars. Since we don't experience most of the hurt and pain of other people first hand, we sometimes lose perspective, overdramatize. It's human nature.

They're not. It's their vanity that makes them say that. Everyone wants to think they're original and unique.
