I consider, that bowling and golf-it is 2 incomparable things. Bowling-is active entertainment in free time, and golf-is intellectual sports game with the increased loading.

If you have ever played either sport, you would have never asked this question. Golf is way more physically demanding than bowling. Bowling is done in a temperature controlled environment. Golf is played in a variety of climates. The only thing professional bowlers have over professional golfers is that they(bowlers) carry their own equipment.

Bowling is an activity, Golf is a sport.
I think golf is more demanding if you consider walking the course, the Sun and elements, the use of your whole body to swing the club.
Don't get me wrong Bowling is fun but Golf can be work.

whether you walk or not, golf is a lot more physically demanding, go to a driving range for an hour or longer if you can, you will eventually get very tired all over your body, then go bowling...i can bowl all day long, yeah i might have to use a lighter ball but i will be able to bowl the next day without being tired

Golf is more physically demanding if you walk all of the holes. It also takes longer to play one game. You can also play speed golf where your run between holes with only a few clubs, that is very tough.

in the long run, I think bowling is more physically demanding on one's arm. However, novice golfers who walk the course should be in better shape than bowlers. I mean c'mon, when 325 lb. cheeseburger eaters can be among the best in a sport, I wouldn't call that too physically demanding. Especially, when drinking beer and smoking Winstons is part of the game.

both are sports, both involve competition, both have an undetermined outcome, both require skill, both play against others individually or as a team but golf is far more physical than bowling.
