Hi There congrats on your pregnancy,
Mild cramping in the first trimester could be just your body and muscles adjusting to the new baby growing inside you, but having 2 miscarriages myself plus 7 healthy babies, I can give you a Little advise that I hope helps try resting or changing positions and see if that helps , but if you have cramping that doesn't go away, or seems to be getting worse or if you notice any bloody discharge, you will need to call your Dr.
good luck with the new bundle of joy

Look at it this way. There is very little to nothing that you can do to avoid miscarriages. Your best bet is to just take it easy and reduce the everyday stress in your life.
I too had cramping at the beginning of my pregnancy, but mine was to the point where it hurt to even stand. i could have sworn that I was going to have a misscarriage, but the doctor told me that it was only 'growing pains'.
Just don't worry, cramps can be fairly common during pregnancy. Even light spotting is fairly common. I don't think you need to worry until you start to get bad cramps that sort of resemble those of your persiod. These can be an indication of a miscarriage. I am going to include a useful website. it is one that I use all the time. It is wonderfully knowledgeable. It will automatically connect you to an informative site about miscarriages, but please explore around the links to educate and encourage yourself.
Just be careful and enjoy this pregnancy. Good luck:)

Slight cramping is normal as long as it's not painful for long periods and if there is no bleeding. Your uterus is expanding for the baby and is normal. Any concerns that you just can't get off your mind call the doctor they are there to help ease your worries. Hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy. Good Luck.

there can be a lot of stretching that feels like cramping. If your not bleeding, you should have little concern. You can always call the nurses help line at your clinic they give a lot of good advice.

It could possibly be something you ate. Do the pains come and go? Or is it constant? Are you also spotting or bleeding? If they come and go and are intense, I think you should go check it out. If it is minor and is not intense, it may just be food. But if this continues, go see your doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

If the pain gets worse and or you start having bloody discharge, go to the doctor. Try not to stress out about it, easier said than done I know, just remember you are pregnant now. Try not to psych yourself out with all the changes your body is making.

Cramping is normal. I had cramping my first trimester. On each side below the pudge in my belly. Basically where normal menstrual cramps would be. If they're just mild, you should be just fine. If they're really bad, mention it to your doctor.

I had cramping as well through my first trimester, and I was told by my doctor that as long as there was no spotting or heavy bleeding that it was normal and I shouldn't worry.
