We've been seperated for 2 1/2 yrs (from infedelity), have 2 children and have gotten friendlier over time. I don't want to go into this w/a cynical attitude because there's alot of me that wants this, but so much time has past and so many words have been said. Any success stories?

I remarried my ex after a year of being divorced back in the early 90's...without marriage counseling. Needless to say, the 2nd time around last for 4 months. With that said, I do believe - with marriage counseling - that the likelihood is great of it working out again. A lot can change/happen in the 2 1/2 years you've been apart. Words have been said, feelings hurt, trust was destroyed - but...BUT - anything is possible and my feeling is if you don't try it, you will always wonder 'what if'....

How old is she? each and every woman I even have ever nicely-known will pass with the aid of those stages. i don't understand what i want baloney, particularly whilst they turn 21. issues start to cool all the way down to customary at around 25. If shes older than 25 already, then perhaps she by no skill have been given to adventure those partying and ingesting alot stages whilst she grew to become into youthful and needs to get excitement from it now. i don't understand lots approximately Manic melancholy, yet whilst she quite needs to artwork issues out, grant to take her to counseling and pass along with her as a pair. artwork on issues between the two certainly one of you and not concentration on her because of the fact of her melancholy. If issues are meant to be, then this is going to artwork, if not, do not forget that in case you enable her pass, regardless of if that's genuine love, she'll finally come back. warning: that's suggestion from a guy. each and every woman on the internet is in all risk cussing me desirable now for such undesirable suggestion, yet that's what i could do. desirable or incorrect... who is conscious, yet i could be a millionaire if I knew how women persons concept.

I have a friend who was separated for 2 1/2 years. Her husband had an affair and was going to marry the other woman.

You would have to hear the whole story, but now the 2 children are grown and they have the best marriage. They learned so much about themselves and who they were and what mistakes they had made.

They then vowed to always put each other first.

They are awesome!!!!!!!!!!1

This is more positive and can have much more chance of happening with marriage counseling and help instead of not doing anything at all to seek help for it. I think marriage counseling and help is a very positive and healthy step for you to take for your marriage and i hope it works out for you both. I geve you alot of credit for seeking help for the marriage. This says alot for you. Good luck to the both of you.

I think if both of you are on the same page, with some counseling, guidance working through it. Sounds like a great place to begin. Just be honest with yourself and your partner. Good luck and God bless****

Try attending Retrouvaille (which means rediscover) with your spouse. It helps you learn how to communicate on a whole new level and reconnect with yourself and your marriage.
