Hi. I have very dry skin and hair. I dont know why this is. Ive tried numerous intensive moisturizing lotions but they dont seem to work. Also my hair is very dry though i have tried numerous deep conditionings. I think my whole system is dry even though i drink a lot of water. I dont know what to do or what vitamins i may take to cure this dryness.

Dry Hair Care Recipe



Ingredients:

1 1/2 teaspoons Corn Oil

Directions:

Add the corn oil to your regular conditioner, rinse out as you normally would.

TIP: To avoid having dry brittle hair, avoid using hot curling irons or blow dryers, bleaching and perming, and hair dyes....use safe alternatives instead such as natural dyes like hennas. Sometimes lacking nutrients can also cause dry brittle hair. Take a multivitamin and mineral supplement on a daily basis...

Storage: Most recipes require refrigeration since they don't contain preservatives. Shelf Life is approximately 1 week.

As for the dry skin you can try to apply wheatgerm oil

Topically you can use coconut oil to moisturize your scalp and hair. Internally you can take flax-seed oil (which has the essential omega fatty acids which aid in skin & hair health) and biotin (which nourishes the hair/skin/nails). Good luck!
