yes its called catergory 5 wire network cables and you need a lan card in each computer

You can use a switch box with 3 cables or use something like the New Star switch box that connects 2 computers on one keyboard, 1 mouse and one monitor. Use the search machine for details.

By a 2 Port KVM switch. You can hook two computers up to the same monitor and use the same mouse and keyboard for both. The newer ones allow quick beyboard shortcuts to switch between what computer you're viewing and controlling.
If your computer is newer, chances are that your may have only USB ports. In that case, you'd need to make sure that your got a USB 2 Port KVM.
You'll probably end up spending around $85.
