I've never had a lot of money. I'm only 12. A lot of people my age wear hollister, american eagle, and abercrombie. I've always wondered how they afforded it. I never really cared about having nice clothes, because I shop at Walmart. They have quality clothes for me. I just want to know how to people afford it. I am not poor or rich. I just wonder do you have to be rich to buy these clothes. One girl I know wears a new outfit everyday and she aint rich. Do you think these type of clothes are cool or not?

That girl's parents are probably going broke just paying for her clothes.
I have a good income and so does my husband, but we couldn't afford to shop for all our kids clothes at those stores either. I wouldn't do it even if I could because they are too hard on stuff.

Well i where American eagle and hollister and i am not rich or poor... But you have to go when they have things on sale.... Like i spent $100 and I got 5 shirts a hoddie and a bag....So things are not that much there when you go when there all on sale... But you should care about having nice clothes because when you get older it will help your self confidence and you will think better about your self...But you dont need to where hollitster and american eagle or abercrombie...Where what makes you feel good....

I dont think they are cool. They are just materialistic ( For me ). If you like to buy branded clothes they always have sales usually near the back area. You could buy $10 or less worth of shirts instead of $20+ original price. And about the girl who wears a new outfit everyday. I dont think she would wear a new outfit every becuase sometimes my friends also think i wear a different outfit everyday but it really depends how you pair your outfit. And you could buy unexpensive clothes at bargain shops [ which im a big fan of ]

Well, yes and no. The reason these people probably aren't rich is because they spend all their money on clothes. But I do like american eagle and abercrombie. They probably have a job and spend all their money right away on clothes.

i (personally) don't think that these clothes astute you as "cool" in the good sense of the word. the pyche of the average 12 year old can not expand large enough to fit around their enourmous ego. No, the think they are cool- but in all reality, they are not!

it's not about money, it's about the temporary fix and attention they get from wearing designer clothes or having the latest item or accessory.
