Why are people so horrible?

How can people be so mean?

How can they just say such hurtful stuff without considering the feelings of the person they are saying it to? Especially when they don't even know the person that well?

How can they just assume stuff, and then blame you for it, when they don't even know the situation?

What are everybody's opinions on these questions?

Well, this hits close to home since I just trashed the person that I answered a question for. Why did I do it? Well, thank God it's not out of habit! There are some things that just chaffs my hide (as John Wayne would say). I'm fairly certain that I am not alone or unique! I'm also certain that what bothers me may not bother you. What could possibly bother some people enough to trash someones question? Terrible spelling when there is a spell check button less than 4 inches away. Poor grammar that destroys any attempt at assisting the person even if you own a super secrete decoder ring! Lack of needed info, ie age, sex, religion, culture, freedom, $'s, etc! Then lastly that person that is just an ignorant moron, who asks how many times is it proper to spank a wife when she bounces a check. You mix in a little bad day at the office, a screaming little girl that hits some high notes that the day before I would swear no human could reach, a particularly horny day and a wife with a head ache. Now you have someone who answers inappropriately. Hope this helps, and yes I already feel guilty for trashing the last guys question! Not bad enough to go delete it though! lol

I have a funny feeling that this world is becomming more and more nasty due to the status of its people. Although this has always been around, I too have been noticing it become more prevalent lately.

Think of it this way.. Most average people are in some sort of debt, working full time and not able to afford the most basic of lifestyles, cannot and have no chance of getting ahead of the game and this stresses them out. On top of this, they have the day to day stresses of things breaking and costing more money they do not have, threats of job loss and layoffs etc. This is a recipe to make someone beaten down, mean and nuts. This is why people are not being as lovely as they may have been 30 years ago.

It is sad, but I think that there needs to be some more humanity on the part of our government/taxes in order to restore people to normal again

lifes not fair if it were there wouldn't be phycologists asking 100$ a session.... lol i'm sorry. I often wander stuff like this and I actually have written poems, and stories over similar topics. Trust me hun,.....life sucks but sometime soon you will be able to find a counter balance to the problems of the world and wether that balance will help just you or the entire human race only God knows(sorry if your not religious). But till that time comes remember those people aren't even worth your little finger let alone your middle. GL and I hope you find that counter balance.

its precisely because they dont know someone that they can say such evil things. its easy to take your self hatred out on other unsuspecting victims. no one wants to be a fool, so we often draw conclusions of the worst kind, and act accordingly to avoid being taken advantage of.

Those are questions everyone will ask themselves from time to time throughout life, probably without ever finding a true answer because I don't think there is one. Human nature is a funny thing, and there are certain things you just have to grow to accept, like that there is good and bad with all things, including people. Just take life's hard knocks and learn from them.

People Have just a range of problems from not evaluating the outcome to just trying to attract attention negative or positive.

People (normally) usually don't take responsibility to their actions and finds a scapegoat to blame (usually other people), typically that people generally don't know that.

In a nutshell, people just plain suck, we are in the days where very few can be trusted and you may not have true friends (who never lie to you, etc.)

People are always trying to be in the IN Crowd and they will say and do anything to be like. It cruel but the truth. They say bad things about someone else to make them self look and feel better but in reality there just making them self look like a two face kind of person or a back stabber . That why it always best to be yourself and if you don't like someone and say something about them make sure your willing to say it to the person and not behind their backs. Some people just don't think. Also you will probably find that most of them are teenage boys filled with tetesterone. BUT! there are many people who take offence MUCH to easily...

People can be so horrible because they have no life and take it out on everyone else. They are jealous of people who actually care what happen in their lifes and enjoy hurting those people.
