in the story a young girl gets cancer. i remember one of the book covers is her holding a teddy bear. she has reddish hair i believe. also i remember in another book by this author a girl who wakes up one morning to find that she has to care for a newborn baby... can someone help me im going to go crazy if i cant remember !!

I'm thinking "Six Months To Live" by Lurlene McDaniel, which is probably out of print now since it's not featured on her Web site. But that one is the first in what's called the Dawn Rochelle quintet of books.
The one about the baby...I'm not sure. Try doing some research at Wikipedia.

I know that Lurlene McDaniels writes a lot of stories about cancer patients.. I'm not sure about the story about the newborn baby though...
