There are times for a camcorder and times for youtube.com and in my opinion, when your 90 something year old father is in the hospital with countless wires and tubes running in and out of him-well you should leave the camcorder at home.

I agree with you. That video was in very bad taste. I felt so sorry for this poor old man. His dignity was robbed by that video. My own father also had tubes coming out of him. He was 80 when he died, while hooked up to such tubes. I surely would not want a video of him posted on the internet like that, and I know he would not have wanted it either. Shame on that person for posting their father like that.

I don't think the taping is necessarily in bad taste. It is his reality, better to recognize it than deny it. However the way that the woman is talking to her father is demeaning, disrepectful and and snotty. Sounds like some wench with a purse dog dressed in a sweater telling him to do tricks for a scooby snack. Old man should have told her she is number one, but he he probably has to count on her to change his catheter bag once he comes out.
