I really want to change my image from normal to edgy,rock because I'm tired of looking the same and I'm kind of getting into rock music.Maybe someone can give me ideas on like hair,makeup,and stores(besides hot topic) thanks

if you really knew rock music you'd know that it didn't have an image. your style should reflect who you are you have to evolve with yourself, not with the latest trends.

Some of the best musicians couldn't give a rip what they look like! Look at the Decemberists, Modest Mouse, the Shins, Weezer, (or going back a ways) Nirvana or the Pixies. They all rock and they all look like complete nerds. Find your own look, don't mindlessly copy others.

Start with your haircut. Get a hot, edgy, razorcut hairstyles at your favorite salon.
As for clothes, black, leather, studs, frayed jeans are the way to go.
Unless you like goth, I suggest you ease up on the black make-up. Just use darker earth tones for your eyes for a more dramatic effect. You can opt either for super pale lips, or red lips.

I think like guitar looks and rock and roll shirts are awesome. i think like darker makeup and silver or gold are kinda like that look and if your not too sure where to go then i think you might want to check-out an Ardene store (if there is any near you) because it carrys rock stuff/clothes!

wear jeans maybe skinny jeans with flats or peep toe heels in red or some bright color, rock band shirts, heavy black eyeliner, bright sparkley metallic eye shadows, different hair cut, black or light light blonde hair. try going to urban outfitters. www.urbanoutfitters.com

you should get some really cool rock t-shirts like , ramones or other really cool bands. Also try some vintage sneakers , they always have some edge to it
