im 12, and i read it. it has several *strong* language in it, buy, other than that, its perfeclty fine. theres no nudity, etc. theres no kissing, until, like vol 17, which isnt out yet.

Yea I think it's child appropriate b/c it's very funny and very entertaining 2 see what's going 2 happen next within all of their lives.

Yes, i think so. the book says thirteen and up but i guess two years off doesn't make much difference.

I have not read the manga, I have only seen the anime. But I think it would be ok if they can handle it. :) Hope this helps!
