No. The good diets will have you take it off slowly and keep it off for good.

Exercise is just as important as changing your diet. 50 lbs is a lot to try to lose in four months, though, no matter what diet you do. Try for something more realistic, like 1 lb each week, and spend some time doing cardio or in the gym turning some of the extra weight into muscle. Turning 10 lbs of fat into muscle will look almost as good as getting rid of the 10 lbs.

Have you ever heard of the Kaiser diet? A co-worker told me about it and said she lost 8lbs in 3 days. Here's how it works: You are given a very specific 3 day food schedule. You must follow this to a T. Stop the diet for 4 days, BUT do not overeat. You may begin after the 4 day break.

One diet that is sure to make you lose wieght fast is simple: don't eat any red meats, only poultry and fish. Also, try to eat nothing but fruits but vegetables. Avoid any large amounts of food at a time. And always eat a small healthy breakfast, such as cereal or eggs. My boyfriend did this diet and lost 20 pounds in the first month.

I think slim-fast is good. You have a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch, then have sensible meal for dinner.

You never want to lose weight fast. However, if you are looking to lose and keep it off - try Atkins.
