And I need an electric drill, with bits.
I am quite the handywoman, but I need some tools, RIGHT AWAY!
Suggest brands like Ryobi, Craftsman...,etc.
I am serious. Really!
Thanks for any help. God Bless the "Handy" people!

Look for tools that can do more than one jobs because they come with attatchements. Ryobi, Skill and Craftsman are fine. You are going to be using the tools occasionally than just about any brand is fine.

Okay you want to buy Craftsman and the reason why is if EVER it breaks Craftsman is guaranteed not to break. So IF it does you take the item back to Sears and they hand you a new one!!! There are lots of good brands, but for long term use versus price and warranty Craftsman is the one.

I would suggest Craftsman. The tools are good quality for the money, the warranty is good, and the staff at Sears is usually helpful and knowledgeable. And you can get just about any tool you need from one place.

With tools, you generally get what you pay for.

Unlike husbands........

Since you're looking for handy tools for yourself, you don't need very expensive ones. I'd go for the Ryobi, a bit cheaper but reliable. If you're in Canada go to Canadian Tire for they have a complete set for your needs, otherwise, Home Depot is another place to go.

That bastage! He could have at least left you a screwdriver. Best bet is to go to Sears and look for a screw gun with all the good stuff and dont spend too much. Less than $100.00 will get you all you need.

Makita! A good reliable brand and take your ex's charge card if you still
have it and go on a shopping spree at Home Depot.
