Yes there is an election in Quebec Monday. However federally, it looks like another year without an election. The Bloc voted in favour of the Conservatives Budget (a non confidence vote, which can bring down a government) because they offered 2 billion in incentives to Quebec. The media can only hope to get rid of this useless by partisan "government".

We are voting in Quebec today {Monday March 26} there are 3 leading parties, The LIEberals, The Partie Quebecois and Action Democatique du Quebec. The LIEb's are the LIEb's, self explanatory, the Partie Quebecois, well people are tired of hearing the word referendum, and are tired of all of our tax money going to support them at trying to split us up. The ADQ are very close to being Conservatives, it looks like the ADQ will fair VERY well in this election, should they do so it would be in Harper's best interest to have an election, for every person who votes ADQ would vote for a Conservative. People here are FED UP with the way things are being run.
So look closely at the Quebec election to see what happens here and you will have a really good idea of when we will be at the polls next Federally.

The Bloc is going to vote to support the budget. The Liberals who are trailing in the polls don't want an election.

We will only see an election in the near future if the Conservatives ask for one, to try to get a majority government.
