In the cold climate it seems you have to spend a lot of time dealing with the snow, shoveling, getting dressed in coats and warm clothes, driving in the snow, snow tires, etc., blizzards, worrying about heating, and all that.

I prefer moderate climates, where you still feel the change of seasons. I have lived in the heat of Arizona (120s and higher in the summer) and in the cold of upstate New York (-10s in the winter). I'd have to say I prefer the cold. In the cold, you can dress warm enough and I can handle the snow - more or less. But in the hot climates, there's no way you can go out without getting a heat stroke. You have to be glued to the AC between March and October...

Definitely warm! I lived in the north for many years, I felt like a prisoner in the winter, and it was depressing.

Now I live in Florida, and it is fantastic. I can go anywhere year round without worrying about snow and ice, and I don't have to shovel it. The beach is great. I live on the Gulf of Mexico. Would never want to live where it is cold again.

It's cheaper living here, too. You don't have to worry about buying clothes for all the seasons.

Warm! That's why I live where I live after 1/2 a lifetime of shoveling snow.

A mixture of warm and cold climate. So that there is a balance of cold and warm. It's gets very boring to have just one climate all the time.

I am very picky about my climate. I live in Michigan, USA. It gets very cold in the winter, and I am MISERABLE. I complain constantly. But in the summer it is perfect. Then if I go down south, in the summer it is sooo hot, and I am MISERABLE. I complain constantly. I just can't find a happy medium. But I guess I would choose warm climate over cold climate, I really hate snow.

I like where I'm at (Colorado) Yes there is snow in the winter. But there is also a definite distinction between seasons. Which I like. I don't think think I could handle 70 degree weather all time, nor could I handle 15 degree weather all the time. Here, you get it all.

That's why at age 29 I moved from Seattle(my hometown) to sunny Las Vegas. That rain and those clouds are too depressing for me. My parents, on the other hand, love the rain and it IS beautiful there.. Lots of green and flowers. They were born there and will die there. That's why people live where they live. This country has something for everyone.
