I think that is very annoying, especially since it is very crowded. I almost think it is a fire hazard especially due to the number of people that shop there. I find it rather congested when I have a shopping cart and trying to move along and one or two people could be looking at something in the middle of the aisle such as dvd's and I have to either wait or ask politely if they can move out of the way. They shouldn't have to if the product was placed better. That is the one of the reasons I think Target is much better is because they keep the aisles clear. Am I the only one that thinks like this?

People shop at Wal-mart because they sell product cheaper than anyone else. Period. Wal-mart knows this and doesn't care how uncomfortable the shopping experience is as long as people keep coming back. And we will keep coming back even with the crowded isles, dirty floors, useless staff, and ridiculously long and slow checkout lines because the prices are cheap. They know this. They also know it would cost them money to buy extra storage for the surplus you see in the isles or to hire quality staff and they would gain no new customers by doing these things, because everyone already shops there as it is. Keep shopping at Target and if enough people vote with their wallet, they will change. It is just business.

The problem isn't really with Wal-Mart's store stocking policies - its with the customers who think they are the only people in the world, and who are so inconsiderate that they won't get out of other customers way! Quit being so polite - when somebody is blocking the aisle, tell them you need to get through, so can they please get out of your way!

I never thought about it like that, but now that u mention it...
In Switzerland once, I saw one of those things in a store, but it was filled with chocolate!!!
