Do players get a brand new jersey and shorts for every game in the NBA, NFL or MLB?

What about the NFL helmets, they seem to be brand new for every game.

If players get new jerserys and shorts for every game, what happens to the old ones? Isn't that a waste of money and fabric? Also, how do u clean NFL helmets, do they re paint the outside for every game cause they seem brand new with zeo scracthes.

yes, people like Gilbert Arenas and Dennis Rodman give away their jerseys after every game.

I'm not sure about shorts, but i know they get new jerseys and usually shoes.

I am pretty sure that teams have a bunch of those shorts and jerseys and they just wash them. About the person that mentioned Gilbert Arenas: he has to pay for the jersey's that he gives away, i was reading in a bbal mag how at first he couldn't afford it, but now he can and he does. Helmets are probably just cleaned, not new.

i agree about the jersey, but i kno for a fact that they do not get new shoes for every single game, they only wear them for an hour, people like shaq who probably sweat thru there shoe, maybe gets new ones everygame, but the normal guard say doesnt get new shoes every single game
