I just had a friend who got divorced and is dating several different guys (not sleeping with them). My husband says a woman who does that is a tramp. I said then what is a man who dates several different women and sleeps with all of them and he said "a cool guy".

Yes, there is a hypocritical double standard - a man who dates many women is considered to be a big macho, while a woman who dates many guys is viewed as a s l u t. This is a ridiculous and medieval double standard, and it's amazing that some people still believe in it!

I have been asking myself that since I was in high school. It's just among the men though...I think women who know men sleep around do not consider this as "cool" we think they are dogs/pigs, ect. It's only the men that think it's cool to score with many women, it's not all men though, only the immature, insecure men who can't actually have a real relationship. This is of course just my opinion.

It's difficult to say to day, but there was a time when women were respcected, honored and treasured as the homemaker and fabric of the family. Not much was expected of men except to provide and stay out of the way by making your name in the outside world.

I personally agree with not sleeping with men before marriage. After a divorce she must be real confused so it's good to hold off. So basically all the relationships are friendly. But if a guy bangs every chick that has a nice rack he is a mac. yes it is a double standard. When will we all realize FORNICATION IS WRONG!!!

is a child thing and that's what it really goes down to. Tracking the parents of the child if there is 1 man and 5 woman we all know who both parents are the other way only test can tell. This is ingrained in to the culture so we don't know why we think that way. well everyone but me

No offense but your hubby is a scum bag which is normal because all men are created equal and as we know have uncontrollable zipper problems. oh please I'd like to hear about one guy who truly never cheated on a women. and that will be a cold day in hell.

i dont know why either. they shouldn't be considered cool they should be considered a slut to. It dont really matter if its a man or a women they both are sluts to me no effince to your friend.
