He is decent but he wont be able to throw while on his back.Houston has more than a QB problem. The line has allowed more sacks over the last 5 years than most any team.

I personally dont think Carr is that great...Schaub doesnt have much experience as a starting QB though.

He was a DECENT back up. He has yet to prove himself next year. You really cant compare Carr and Shaub because Shaub was a backup for the past few years and Carr was a starter. In the end, Shaub will be the better QB although he will get sacked alot. They seriouly need depth at the O-Line.

anyone is better than david carr. the houston organization is the worst in the league. 1st pick ever - david carr, passed on reggie bush, spend too much for over the hill players, and mortgaged high draft picks in the next 2 drafts for a QB who's never played in a regular season game.

he has a QB rating in the mid 50s i think. he has 6 tds and 6 int if i remember correctly in his nfl career. i dont think he is that much of an upgrade over carr. carr isnt bad, he just has a crappy oline and i dont think schaub will fair any better.

You have probably also never seen him play because he has minimal experience. He could be a good QB but no one knows for certain. I am sure that he wont perform well in houston because it is hard to be successful at QB when you are on your back.

he's 0-2 as a starter. He's played really well in preseason and was a good prospect coming out of college a few years ago. But he's definately unproven.

Everyone is better than David Carr. Joey Harrington had better stats in Detroit than Carr did in Houston. What does that say about him???? Best Answer Please
