anyone else just love manhattan?

I don't know what could be more pleasing than walking down a Manhattan street on a snowy day. What is it about this place? Not many things are greater than the opening scene in woody allen's "Manhattan"

It's fun to visit, but I hated living there. I'm not a big fan of the rat-race. I need space and quiet to stay some sort of sane.
