I always add some details. Sometimes a personal question requires lots of details because people will always jump to the wrong ideas. Actually it doesn't matter how many details I add, they will still get the wrong idea, either from reading it wrong or not reading the details at all.

Oh yes! I think you need to add details to personal questions so that people don't make assumptions but it's gotten me into trouble. I find (some) people just make more assumptions.

Yes but unfortunately serious or long questions don't get many answers. People are just too lazy to read, I guess.

People that write a four-paragraph narative about their relationship problems make me homocidal. I can't understand why anyone would ever answer one of those, and I sure as hell wouldn't write one.

Yep.
When I have a serious question, I DEFINITELY DO NOT come to P&S. I take it to "Toddlers" or "Womens Health"
