Sulphur grease, also called moly grease (molybdenum disulfide grease.) Some companies also call it lithium grease.
Great stuff, but very hard to clean off your hands completely. It also stains, since it's black.

I've never used anything on the slider bolts. Any grease on these will just collect dust, get baked on the slider and prevent the caliper from sliding freely. Make sure they are clean, smooth, and tight.

There is a special grease for the sliders. It's called brake caliper grease, you can get it at most auto parts stores.
You can also use anti-seize compound.

Pull it completely out of the caliper, wire wheel it or clean it up with a wire brush, and put some wheel baring grease on it and put it back in and work it back and fourth a few times and it will be as good as new.

you need the high temperature grease.your talking about the anchor plate!i just use high temperature grease on mine.the same you use in your ball joints and tie rods.
