You are asking the wrong question. The question you should be asking is "Will people take me seriously if I get a degree online"? The answer is No. Many employers will throw away your resume as soon as they see you went to school online.
As for where you can go to get one online -- the answer should be obvious. You don't have to go anywhere. You can get it at home on your computer.
Most online colleges are For Profit corporations. They accept nearly everyone who applies. The lack of standards makes it hard for employers to find out if their graduates are good or not.
While many online colleges are accredited, they usually have regional accreditation and not the more prestigious national accreditation. University of Phoenix, for example, was recently fined a record $9.8MM by the Department of Education for sleazy recruiting practices. They are currently being investigated for padding their placement numbers. Many companies (Intel for example) have recently decided not to pay for their employees to take classes at U of P -- because they lack rigor.

What ej just said is absolutely NOT TRUE! Many online universities are a completely valid and accredited way to further your education. There are places such as the British National Open University that have been around for many decades and have a very respected, high-quality standard of education.
That being said, if this is your first experience (Bachelor's level) in a university, I would highly recommend finding a traditional campus for your first degree. University life is a big adjustment and you should definitely get your feet wet there first before you try an online one. Distance education requires committment, discipline and self-motivation. Going to university first will give you the skills you need to succeed through distance.
If, for financial or personal reasons, you really feel you should get your first university degree or diploma online, do your research! Like anything, there are both good and bad choices out there. Some online schools are indeed unconcerned with education and more concerned with turning a profit. Check out possible schools carefully. If you email the admissions departments of any online institution you're interested in, they can send you more information about programs, accreditation and graduates. Good luck!

I would strongly suggest that you bypass any on-line university degree program and get yourself into a bricks and mortar (traditional university) type program. These on-line schools are baloney and money grabbing entities and a lot of HR/personnel companies out there look down on such on-line programs. Get yourself into a real school with books and people and a an actual not virtual classroom!
