Having irregular periods is actually perfectly normal. Some women do not have a regular period. An irregular period can be caused by a health problem, but without going to a doctor you will not know. If you simply have an irregular period, a doctor can also put you on birth control which can help regulate your period.

There are many reasons for a missed period. If you are stressed or even very active or athletic you could miss it. I missed my period for 3 months when I was really stressed. This is something to be concerned about, however, and as much as you may want to avoid it, you should speak to a doctor. Some missed periods may be a sign of things that are out of whack so to speak. The doctor will know what questions to ask in case there is something to be alarmed about.

If your not sexually active then your not pregnant. If your stressed out that could do it. If your taking birth control that could do it. If you miss the next one I would call the obgyn and get checked out. It could be something very treatable.

Everyone's body is different. You need to visit your OB/GYN.
