I totally understand how freaking annoying that is and I feel sorry for you...
It could be a number of things. Like everyone else has already said, it could be because you're tired, stressed, or you've been straining your eyes. Or it could be due to taking any new medications, particularly things like diet pills, or an increased caffeine intake. Still yet, it could be a strange phenomenon sometimes referred to as Jacksonian facial twitches. Its like little mini seizures, but nothing to be worried about. These usually come and go and while producing a great amount of annoyance, they don't usually cause any damage or affect everyday activities. If the problem persists for more than 7-10 days, make an appointment with your primary care physician or your optometrist. They can pinpoint the problem and see if there's anything to help you!

Are you extremely stressed out? I know that during finals and other personally stressful times my eye would twitch when I was in college. It will still happen at times if I let myself get overly worked up. Try some relaxation strategies. Deep breathing really helps me!

Your eye is probably twitching because you haven't gotten enough sleep, and you need to rest before your eye will return it's actions to normal.

Causes: too tired, too much caffeine, eye strain and stress
Take B-complex vitamins, eat nutritious, reduce your caffeine and take time to rest as well. Listen to your body.

It could be from too little sleep, stress, anxiety, fatigue, eye strain, or could even be hereditary. If it isn't resolved as the things listed are corrected, please see a doctor (neurological problems) Good luck :)
