Rainbox Six Vegas or Gears of War?

Question

I'm looking for a two games to buy for Xbox 360. For my first game which of the two do you think is better? Rainbow Six Vegas or Gears of War?

I want two different kinds of games so I don't want to buy both of those, so for my second game I want either a sports (bastketball,football, skating) or fighting/wrestling. I already have a racing/driving game (test drive: unlimited) and like it, so I don't need another one.

Of these game which would be a good second choice?

Out of those games which do you think I should pick for my second choice, and should I pick either Rainbow Six or Gears of War for my first?

I just bought a 360 yesterday and I bought Gears of War and Elder Scrolls:Oblivion. Only started playing Oblivion but I am obssessed now- can't stop thinking about it and I have class all day and work all night! NOoOOOooooo

Vegas is the best online but Gears is better with the story mode. If your a fan of multiplayer get Vegas. If you like offline better get Gears. For your second choice, I would go with either Saints Row or NBA Street Homecourt. Saints Row is a great adventure game like GTA. Homecourt is a great pick-up-and-play game, plus the achievements are easy and give you a lot of gamerscore.

Rainbow Six is okay online. You get to go through the story mode online with more than one other player. Gears of War is hands-down better, though. I'd get Gears of War first.

As a second choice, I'd get Def Jam: Icon.

Well i think you should get Gears of War for first i have had it for about a month and cant put it down and it also has a better online play....now if you want a sports game go madden 07....if you want a fighting and shooting game go saints row.....it has ok online and a great story...dont get raw vs. smackdown i used to have it and i traded it in cause it got soooo noring...

rainbow six is better online gears is better offline. Do not buy gears if you use vga unless you are not going to download update. The update destroys the picture. They will fix it but they are dragging their feet. When you die while using gears online you have to wait for the rest of your team to die. If you do not use live then gears is the best. my second choice would be saints row or elder scrolls.
