I've been looking and filling out applications and yet I find nothing got any tips on what to do.

I don't have a lot relatives to help me find a job so can't use that idea.

what kind of job are you looking for?
In any case you need to project yourself as reliable!!! formost
and let lthem believe they are getting the best they could ever ask for
even if you don't believe that yourself you need to
project that image!
you have to make the employer think that you are what they are looking for.
and also if this is the job you really want
don't give up keep calling until they get so sick of
you they will hire you!

"Network" with your friends and family. They can fill you in on vacate positions at their place of employment. 80% of the people we hire know somebody already there.
