Ok i want to get Final Fantasy XI online for the PS2 i was wondering how much a month it cost to play and do i have to buy the first one ore can i play just from the expansions?

this game is awsome its worth the money its 12.95 per month yes you have to buy the first game maybe il see you online if you email me your character name some advice pick unicorn server and start out in windurst as a tarutaru me and you could pt in the game together

On PS2, you have to have the old thick PS2 and it needs a hard drive. The first game came preinstalled on the hard drive. Good luck finding one. I think they are out of production.
This is why I play on Xbox 360 and on PC. My PS2 is the new slim version that doesn't support the hard drive unit.
