I agree some things are too expensive, but then again I am still able to find deals...usually from individual sellers...not the companies or online stores....

I am an ebay powerseller
after expenses about half of all money I make goes to ebay through listing fees, final valuation fees, unsold items listing fees and paypal

Ebay are taking too much cream off the top to make it worth the trouble of selling anything

I used to buy lots but not lately, also used to sell but not for several months now as the fees are high. Some people now charge way over the top for postage which cancels out any saving you might have made. There is also too many "buy now" items for a so called auction site. Also you can no longer put a reserve on low priced items. Why not try,

instead.

I`m a Power Seller on eBay, and even i think it`s a bit expensive at times.
But they do keep putting their fees and charges up and you just have to cover the cost of them !

I think they should start a different site for amateurs only, as the traders on eBay are spoiling the experience, just like what has happened to boot sales.

It would be nice to see an end to "buy it now", too, and vastly over inflated postage and packing charges.

From a selling point of view, I think the way they keep changing their listing form, rules and policies etc, it is getting hard to keep up. Also, many people are getting fed up with the buyer having protection and the seller getting little. And not enough is being done about all the scams going on too.

I don't find it too expensive, and it is good for finding things from your teenage years that You think will be as good as it was then and will make You happy but then turns out to be a load of rubbish. I can't find the words to explain this situation, 'never meet Your heroes' is as close as I can get.

I think its over rated now. And yes, I do find that ceratin things are more expensive to buy on EBay then to just drive to the store and buy it.

I believe it has for selling, but not buying. When i use to sell alot of things, the fees came to £80!!! and i only made £160.
So never sell to many things on ebay in one month.
