Not the midevil times because you could die from simple things like a fever. Or even the flu. I want to live 1000 years from now. I really want to live forever.

Well, medieval times seem pretty cool (at least from a clothing perspective) but it would have been a pretty rough life. If cleanliness is next to godliness life is certainly more divine these days. They used to go weeks (months?) without bathing. No wonder they were always dying of something! And no health care! I don't think I'd want to give up daily showers not to mention a candlelit bubblebath in my whirlpool tub under the skylight...
No I would choose to live now. In some ways the world seems to have gotten worse with so much crime & violence but actually the Middle Ages were far more brutal...hence the term "Go medieval on your ***!" They were a very violent people who invented various torture methods, had public executions, wars, plagues, famine, pestilence...it wouldn't have been a picnic! We're actually very lucky to be alive now. I couldn't give up my modern conveniences. & living in Canada it's a very good quality of life (excellent health care, reasonably safe environment, etc). While it's sad that urban sprawl has reduced the number of forests, there is still a great deal of nature that is unspoiled (I love Algonquin Provincial Park & there are many other parks, trails in Ontario). I love my home. It's very modern. I also love nature & want to live in the country someday. It's a privilege to be in a world where I can experience the best of both worlds. This is the age of the middle class. In the past, there was a stark contrast between the very poor & the very rich. Unless you were wealthy, you'd be starving & destitute and work hard for very little. A woman like me wouldn't have had the luxury of being able to work at a lucrative job & buy a house on her own. It would have been unheard of a thousand years ago when women were seen as second class citizens.
So the short answer is, I'd rather live now!

I'm with doc-of_b on this one - anywhere where there is a nice, comfortable peace - no worries, no bills to chase paying, no murderers at your door, - 1000 years ago there was a lot of dueling going on, from what I was led to believe, however, the people (country) next door didn't have nuclear bombs that madmen from everywhere were trying to get so they could pull a Hitler on the world. If I could live in aytime period I would want to live in the period where there is no more war or disease, no more evil of anykind.
Maybe that already exists somehwere beyond our solar system, but I can't wait for it to be here. (Or maybe ? could take me there?)

well, maybe i dont like people anywhere behaving like they can do anything they want,
because you know what
those are real people too,
and you know what they dont have an empty attitude,
i dont have to die , and you cant ever stay here if you dont try to build the world for me,
so this is my question,
i like to live the world the ways it is now,
a real place that shows every event that has ever took place here,
so i can never belive you or any one else who has ever asked a question, and never thanked the person who gave you the corrcet answer
has the right to staturate this as an insult,
because you would forever keep your place as it is,, and never meet everyone or thing you think you will, when you see god

boy this is tough! I would rather go back to the 70s where I didn't have to worry about paying bills and how hard life is! I cant imagine life in 1000yrs time. that would be too scary for me to try and even think about it.

I would rather live during a time of peace, prosperity and truth. When there was no corruption and everyone worked together towards a mutual goal. No don't wake me up yet!
