My song names keep changing automatically in Windows XP. For example, when I go into the properties and correct the Summary, and then change the filename to Tuck Ya Ice_slow (since this song is slowed-down), after a few seconds the computer automatically changes the filename to "02 Tuck Ya Ice (2)". It's putting the track number which is 2 at the beginning, and changing _slow to (2). Is there a way I can turn this off? When I am looking for a song title they're not in alphabetical order due to the track number it's inserting at the beginning.

Even with other programs, the song titles are not in order. They show up in the order of the number before the title, so I have to look through every song to find the one I want.

I don't know what this is happening to you, but i understand how you link things organized. I would download something like musicmatch or something like that. You can tag all your songs, which tells you artist, album, and name. Then you can rename the file. Example Godsmack - Awake. Try it out.

Go to Start-->Control Panel-->Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices-->Sounds and Audio Devices-->Sounds. In Program Events, click on on "Start Windows", then browse on your Superman topic.
