Funny that you should ask that!...My husband & I were just talking about that subject.
My husband and I waited for what feels like forever. We wanted to get better jobs, a house, finish college...problem is that if I keep waiting my all my eggs are going to shrivel up! lol So, we're actively ttc.
Truth is that if you're waiting for the "right" time, you'll be waiting forever. If it feels right, then do it. Good luck to you!

It depends on the couple and whether or not they want to have a double income family or a stay at home parent.
Personally, I chose to have children before I established myself in my "dream" career. I think it's very hard for women to stay competitive in the work force when they need to take time off to give birth/raise children.
For this reason (and because I personally, don't want my children raised in day care) I decided to become a stay at home mom while my children our young.
My husband, on the other hand has pursued a fantastic career both before and after the birth of our children.
I am using my "time off" from work to finish my degree so when my youngest starts full-day school, I will be ready to return to the work force.
To me, it seems a lot easier this way.

Hi:) Depends on when the couple's feels it is the right time. There's nothing wrong with putting of having children but a couple also needs to be aware that fertility does decline with age and what may happen more easily when they are under 35 may be a whole different story after that.

You have to figure out the right time, but be aware that many women are waiting too long to have babies. By age 30, something like 1/3 of women cannot get pregnant without help of some kind.

It's nice to be financially stable but if left too long trying to conceive can take longer and having children later in life can have more pregnancy risks. If you are willing to take the risks I guess it's really up to you and your partner when the right time will be.

A couple should start having children whenever they feel ready. It does help to be able to financially support the children though.

If a couple wants to have children they should do so when they are emotionally and finanically prepared to have a family...whether it's before or after their careers is up to them.
