I hope for Bermuda to pull off a shocker - but deep down I feel it will be the Banglas who will come out tops.

I still think India should have one more chance - but if they do get it, they have to make drastic changes to their approach if they have any possibility of putting up a fight against the likes of the Aussies and the Proteas

Here is latest from AFP: Bangladesh in Super Eights:

Bangladesh made history when they qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup second round with a seven-wicket victory over debutants Bermuda on Sunday and eliminated India in the process.

It was Bangladesh's best-ever performance in the tournament since making their Cup debut in England in 1999. They failed to go beyond the first round in England and then again in the next edition in 2003 in South Africa.

Bangladesh's second win in the four-team Group B also knocked former champions India out of the tournament. Sri Lanka has already advanced to the Super Eights with an all-win record.

Fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza denied India a sound start with two early wickets on a pitch which offered both bounce and movement early in the innings. Spinners Abdur Razzak and Mohammad Rafique then grabbed three wickets apiece.

Bangladesh were well-served by their teenagers Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahman and Saqibul Hasan, who slammed impressive half-centuries to help their team achieve the target with more than an over to spare.

Bashar is looking forward to another good show from his young and enthusiastic side against Bermuda as they are on the verge of making history.

Bermuda have so far not posed any threat to big sides in the group matches, losing by 243 runs to Sri Lanka and by a record 257 runs to India.

Their batting failed to click in both the matches as they managed just 78 against Sri Lanka and 156 against India.

David Hemp, who plays for English county Glamorgan, is the only batsman with a half-century, against India.

Even on cricketing basis if we compare BD with Bermuda, I think Bermuda have one very-very accomplished batsman the, The English county Prolific scorer David Hemp...
We know BD is very-very unpredictable team although they have beaten India convincingly but I think Bermuda's bowling is good enough for BD to get them out fewer than 200...
As far as BD bowling is concern they have 2 good bowler Rafik and Murtaja I guess the only area of concern for Bermuda otherwise by and large its an even match....and I think BD came first time under pressure to win in their whole cricket carrier, lets see how they response for this winning pressure. We know what pressure can do...dont we?? so we shouldn't lose hope any thing is possible cricket is a funny game...
Who knows if David Hemp has something up in his sleeves for BD boys.....
