not much fun i guess...like how long can you live and watch all this annihilation in this ever-deteriorating world? i guess things that have an end to them are certainly better. eternal life is probably as boring as watching a movie that never ends...and then there's this factor...if you live forever, you would definitely experience everything in this world and nothing would be left and guess what, you won't have much left to do...now THAT so doesn't sound like fun. Personally, I'm too curious about the whole afterlife thing to tolerate living forever! I'd rather die and see what happens than live on and on and no nothing else beyond this world...ugh...how boring...eternal life!!?? it's just plain boring!

hmmm... depends on if everyone was given eternal life... or just you. if it was just you than everyone that you once knew and loved atc would eventually die. you'd make new friends down the line, but eventually they would die too. it would be very depressing in the long run.
and if everyone was given eternal life than this generation of peaple are f***ing up the o-zone layer, the world and the atmosphere enough as it is. you would then be adding on confinuoous generations who would do the same if not worse! and in the end the world would be very crappy... and because of your 'eternal life' you'd have to witness it ALL!!!!!!! not a great thing when you think about it either way... so id have to say im against it

It all depends on whether or not you believe the bible. Personally I do and eternal life isnt an option, you will spend eternity somewhere. Its longer than you can imagine or explain. There is hope after this life, it's found in the blood of Jesus. The infilling of his spirit and a daily prayer life receiving strength through faith in something that others tthink is just emotions....

To think about it is incredibly overwhelming... Just think of a place where people don't have to fight to live, or where no one is forgotten or left behind. Well, thats if you go to the right place.
Hell sounds horrifying. I heard from someone who suffered a near death experience where he was not called to a warm welcoming light- but he was in plain darkness, with pain all over him, things biting at him constantly and no relief to his pain. I keep imagining my most painful experience, and how glad and happy I was when it was over. Its probably like that in Hell, only 10x worse, and with no ending of the pain.

I would say eternal life would be the greatest, but im young. Im thinking when you're older you'd accept that theres a point where it should end just like retiring from a job.

Eternal life is easy. It's the aging process that makes it horrific.
My hubby's grandmother will be 105 next month. Her body is giving out and she can no longer take care of herself.

That is a loaded question!
This song by FFH(Far From Home ) these lyrics sum up a great dicription of Eternal Life in Heaven...
One of these I'm gonna fly
Over the mountain
One of theses days I'm gonna ride
On the silver lining
One of these days I'm gonna witness
All I've been missing
One of these days
One of these days I'm gonna do
All the things I've never done
I'm gonna finish all the races
That I've run but I've never won
I'm gonna see a million faces
And recognize every one
One of these days
One of these days
I'm gonna see the hands
that took the nails for me
One of these days
I'm gonna hold the keys
to the mansion built for me
One of these days
I'm gonna walk the streets of gold
that were paved for me
One of these days
I'm gonna see my Savior face to face
One of these days
One of these days I'm gonna see
Just what became of me
On the day that I believed
And you took myself from me
And I believe that I will see
What I'd have been if you didn't save me
One of these days
One of these days I'm gonna talk
With all the saints that have gone before
In their sandals I will walk
And we will sit upon the shore
And I will learn all the things
That I never knew before
All this and more
One of these days I'm gonna be
In a place where there's no more need
No more pain and no more grief
No more foolish disbelief
Ah the joy that there will be
When at last we finally see
One of these days
I'm gonna see my Jesus face to face
One of these days.

I just know that for me... the reality of Hell is to scary and this life on Earth is like a vapor that vanishes- so I invest my hope in the in the promise of Eternal Salvation through God's Only Son Jesus...John 3:16

I think its terribly over-rated. I dread the thought of being stuck around people forever that I couldn't stand in the first life.
