Thorpe is an Old English word for village and as such there are many streets called Thorpe Road and many towns and villages with Thrope (or thorp) in their name - Mablethorpe, Cleethorpes, Scunthorpe etc.

The name is most common in and around Yorkshire in the north east of England but there are instances of it throughout other parts of England.

To narrow down the search it would be necessary to have more info such as a general area, town or city, name etc.

If you have any further details it may be worth posting another question.

www.streetmap.co.uk revealed there are 57 Thorpe Roads in the UK (though not specifically England).
You're going to need a bit more information.....
