Yeah, Green Day has a really good, easy song to play. I'm not sure if you live in the U.S., but, Green Day's
"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" is pretty easy. I play guitar, and Boulevard only has like 5 or 7 different notes in it. Here is the song basically:

Em G D A7 Em G D A7

Em G D A7 Em G D A7

C G D Em C G D Em

C G D Em C G D Em

Here's the lead :
F# G - B A- F# G- F# E

I'm sorry I don't remember the words to the different parts, but I'm sure you can listen to the song and figure them out, I haven't heard it in a while. You can probably find the entire song on google, just type in "Green Day Boulevard of Broken Dreams guitar", I'm sure you'll find it. Bye !

The first song I learned was "Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave, it's really really easy on the acoustic (excluding the electric solo). Another easy one is "Smells like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, really easy.
