I grew up in Colorado in the 80's before they had an MLB team. Instead of rooting for the KC Royals, who had "territorial" rights in Denver, I rooted for the Sox. I loved Boggs and Clemens. Even to this day, I like the Sox more than the Rockies.
The point is, Red Sox fans are everywhere!

A LOT of people hate the Red Sox at this point. The whole "Idiots" thing got old quickly after their championship. I'm sick of hearing about Manny every off-season. The $51million just to negotiate with Dice-K after years of crying about the Yankees spending. It's all gotten so tiresome.
I'm not a Yankees fan, or even an AL fan, but I hate the Red Sox. They're just so easy to hate.

The only people who hate the Red Sox are Yankees fans. Which is mostly everyone in New York, New Jersey, and a little bit of Connecticutt and Rhode Island, then a few hundred people in other states across the U.S. I'd say approximately 4 million people. Everyone else hates the Yankees.

Personally, I didn't hate the Red Sox till "Fever Pitch" was made.
What an awful movie. The Red Sox should sue Jimmy Fallon for that pile of remnant.

I personally don't hate them, their a great team. I think at least 100,000,000 people in the U.S. hate the Boston Red Sox.

It's not just Yankee fans who hate the Red Sox. Many people who root for other teams in the AL East (Orioles, Blue Jays, Devil Rays) also dislike the BoSox because they have to play them 19 times every season. Other people might hate the Red Sox because perhaps they "win too much" or spend "too much" money on free-agent players in the offseason.

I'm a Mets fan. I personally don't have a problem with the Red Sox. I'm not a big fan of the Yankees however.

Very few,,except in New York....watch the Red Sox "away" games and notice how many Boston fans there are..often times more than fans of the home team.
