The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

, Whoa,Whoa, whoa, If you need a fan clutch, that means that your radiator fan is not working properly and you need another one. This has nothing to do with the gear ratio of your rear end. He is either pulling your leg (i hope) or he is so stupid he doesn't know the difference ( ie; he's an idiot) and he is looking at your rear end. (wink wink). Any how, there are four bolts that hold it on to the belt drive on the front of your water pump and it's not that expensive. Go to another parts house and let them know right off hand you mean business.

Inside the glove box or in the door panel will be a white sticker on it will be a bunch of codes like gt4 z71 z85 the code. The g code should be the gear ratio. If you can get me a vin I might be able to decode it for you.

Ummm...it should be listed under your engine hood. If not get the manual and look up the specs for your truck. Beter yet, find another auto parts store. That guys an idiot. He should know these things. Hope this helps.

Rear end size has nothing to do with replacing your fan clutch. Try going to your dealer though & price one there, while you're there give them your VIN & have them print off an RPO list for future references.
