Yes. I was heavily pregnant, nauseated horribly, and trying to clean the fridge for a move. I found something disgusting, I think it may have started out as one of my husband's chili-drenched creations, which are disgusting to me to start with but that's beside the point, rotting in there. I started dry heaves and so when I recovered enough I just threw the whole container away. I felt bad about it, but I had already done so much that day at work dealing with a commercial kitchen's problems, which are normally way nastier than what you find at home (scary, huh) that I just couldn't control my heaves for one more dish to wash, pack, and move.

Yeah, sometimes i forget about leftovers in the fridge and instead of opening the bowl and trying to figure it out . I have been known to thow the bowl and all in the trash and go and buy more bowls.

I think that i have even thrown kids clothes away and bought new because they were going to take to much work to clean

Quite often. I don't do it because a thing is dirty and then replace it though. I look at my not wanting to clean an item and see if it is worth having in my life and having to clean. I often send this stuff to the resale shop or recycle it but some things are just plain not worth having.

You know it!!! Especially stuff that's been in the refrigerator for too long. I have also thrown away crappy pots and pans rather than scrub off the stuff that wasn't supposed to stick to it in the first place!

I've thrown away a few casserole dishes over the years.

I did once, a few tupperware bowls. Just went to walmart and replaced them instead. Hate how they stain anyways.

Now hubby on the other hand...when I first met him he used to tell me how he never washed dishes he always just threw them away and bought new ones. I told him he better not touch mine then and he can use paper plates instead! He's vowed to let me teach him to use the dishwasher next week...

yep, I throw lots of things away, either because I don't want to clean it or because I don't feel like messing with keeping it around...either way I throw a lot of stuff out...lol! I am the exact opposite of a pack rat.... =)
