When it is 7:30 GMT, it now is 3:30 in most of Florida, and 2:30 in the western panhandle, where Central Time is observed.
All the answers above are wrong (Keith is partly right) for two reasons:
First, most of the answerers have failed to take account of Daylight Saving Time, which we observe for eight months of the year. In Florida, they turned the clocks ahead on Sunday, March 11th. Most of the state, in Eastern Time, is now 4 hours behind GMT. West Florida is 5 hours behind.
Second, remember that GMT is not the same as British Summer Time. In the UK, they turned the clocks ahead one hour this morning. British Summer Time is one hour ahead of GMT. Now, when it is 7:30 GMT, it is 3:30 in Miami, 2:30 in Pensacola, and 8:30 in London!

If you are talking about right now, we are on daylight savings time - but if it is a general question about time difference - open up your clock on your computer (presuming you use windows), and look at the time zones - GMT to EDT is minus five hours so it would be 2:30 in Florida - (see the -5 GMT for Eastern Time - it is later east of you and earlier west of you, until you cross the international date line...

Assume Florida is on standard time. Then most
of Florida is in the Eastern time zone which
is 5 hours behind GMT, so the time would be
2:30 P.M. The rest of Florida(extreme western
part of the state) is on Central time, so the
time would be 1:30 P.M.

In the winter, it would be 2:30 am (that's AM, morning, NOT pm!!)
In the summer, it would be 3:30 am.
