the Macbooks are aimed more towards running programs more efficiently while the ibooks are aimed more towards children who wont require all the processor speed and what not. if your'e wondering about which one to get, definitely get the macbook. do you have two you're comparing? I'll help you out in deciding the differences so you can make your educated decision.

As stated, the iBook is the predecessor to the current Macbook. The iBook is very cheap to buy today because it is older. The Macbook runs around $1099 or so. Both of these are Apple Mac laptops.

I can't recite all the differences in the specs. But the major difference is the processor. The iBook uses a G4 and the Macbook uses an Intel chipset.
