Depends on what I was being rescued from. If I were captured by the insurgents (terrorists) in Iraq I would definitely want to be rescued. I have never desired to leave this world without a head.

Well, it depends on what I am being rescued from. If I am wanting to be rescued from a fire, it would be different than being rescued in love (like on "Pretty Woman").

Your question is too general. If people are in peril, of course they would want to be rescued.
