Agreed. Both Sanjaya and Phil need to go away very soon. The only people worth listening to on AI this year are Jordin and Blake. (Melinda and Lakeisha both have good voices, but they sound exactly the same every single week. Boring!)

I think people are voting for him to make a mockery of the show!
Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is from Federal Way, WA. He auditioned in Seattle with his sister, who was eliminated at the Hollywood stage of the competition. Sanjaya says he started singing as a little boy and had formal singing training.
Sanjaya, who spent four years performing with the Hawaii Children Theater, claims he is a shy person and says "I'm scared that I'll never be able to walk into a supermarket without someone recognizing me." His music idol is Stevie Wonder.

I think it is some kind of, oh, I want to say racial thing...I think his twin sister was far better than he is. We agree that Paula is definately on something, but maybe that is why she likes Sanjaya so much...he gets the good stuff!!! Vote him off!

okay you bash sanjaya(even though i think he's ok) truth be told that was his worst performance...but Paula is not always high...she has had at least 7 or 8 major back surgies in the last five yrs. and stay in alot of pain!

I don't think Sanjaya is a bad singer at all, but he'd fit better on the Disney Channel rather than being an American Idol.
I don't think Paula is "high." I'm getting pretty annoyed with Randy though, always saying "Good, but pitchy." or "Ehh...piiiitchy." or even "Fantastic! But you had your pitchy moments."

he should have been voted off a long time ago, that guy sucks, i am really not understanding why he is getting a lot of votes. i think that this is more about a feel bad for people show now than finding a good singer. if he's not voted off soon, i am going to stop watching the show, he's just that bad!

I agree completely! The kid sucks. He sucks out loud. He sucks on ice. He sucks so much that he forces me to use the word 'sucks' five times within the space of one paragraph.
His audition was good but each performance has gotten progressively WORSE. If it wasn't for brainless teenyboppers voting for this idiot and those vote-for-the-worst folks. he'd be long gone. Instead, everyone who watches the show has to suffer through the torment of hearing his Michael Jacksonesque falsetto warbling GAH! Somebody please... MAKE IT STOP! >_<

Me! His singing sucks, his hair sucks, his looks sucks. I dont even know why he made it through auditions. He doesnt even need to be voted off he needs to be kicked off. Like one night they need to say, "all the judges have agreed, you suck, you will not be singing tonight." Now that would be a laugh!
Oh yeah, Paula's not high she's just drunk. Big difference, I think.
