He has a few things working against him:
1. He's not really that athletic. In the NBA, almost everyone is big and strong and fast.
2. He's soft. Tyler Hansbrough from UNC may not be a "player," but he'll last longer than a guy like McRoberts because he's tough. McRoberts seems like he'd miss a half if he cut himself shaving.
3. He's from Duke. With only a few recent exceptions, great Blue Devils don't make great NBA players.
4. He's not really that good in college. You see the potential in guys like Durant, Oden and half of the Gators. McRoberts can't dominate now, how could he possibly do anything as a pro?

Josh McRoberts might not even be drafted. I mean, almost every big guy ever drafted out of Duke except maybe Elton Brand had been softer than Charmin. Unless McRoberts leanrs how to hit the three and maybe gets lucky that he starts running faster than he ever has in his life.

I think McRoberts' game is too limited to make him successful in the NBA. He may fall into "role player" status for some team, but he'll probably sit the pine for while or go to the developmental league.

He'll be a solid forward but not an all star. There are too many forwards that will be better than him. Roy Hibbert, Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, and even Jokim Noah has more potential. His verticle is not that high, but his shooting ability will definetily help him in the NBA.

Hell no!! That guy looks like a poster boy for the Amaechi book. Course, I hate duke too cuz I'm a Carolina fan too. I think the guy is too small, too slow, no authority in the post and a weak jumper. He's gonna be guarded by men who are quicker, jump higher, dribble better and shoot better.
