the best time to conceive is during your ovulation period (about 14 days after your period) for some women it is different, but that is almost a sure way to get pregnant. also, when your man is ready to ejaculate, make sure you are laying on your back. It will shoot farther into your cervix and have a greater chance of becoming pregnant.

It doesn't matter if you are 19 or 40 and trying to get pregnant the factors are both the same there is no real way to tell some people just get pregnant easier than others, everybody is different like you said.

Also, it isn't always easy to hit your ovulation marker unless you are tracking it closely! The window isn't that wide per month for a woman to conceive.

It still makes no difference. Like you said everyone is different. If it takes longer than a year or maybe even 6 months then try a fertility clinic.

They say that you should try "naturally" for a year before seeking medical help. If it has been over a year you and your partner should be checked...hormonal levels, sperm count..the works. Once you have that done you'll know what route to take. In the meantime bbt charting, menstrual charting, and maybe get an ovulation kit. Best of luck to you.

Well it took me 3 months each time. I am 23. The first one I lost when I was 6 months pregnant and I am now pregnant with twins. So it will happen.

I'm TTC started when I was 27. Let my OB know, she put me on prenatal vitamins. Told me to come back after 9 months if I wasn't pregnant. 9 months later I was in her office, and then they started the testing and turns out that I wasn't ovulating. I would say don't wait longer then 9 months to go back to your OB letting them know your situation. Good Luck!
