Honey Facial * (warning - do not use this if you are allergic to eggs!)
1 tablespoon honey
1 egg yoke
1 teaspoon olive oil
Beat the egg yoke with a fork, add the oil and blend well. Add the honey using a spoon that you have rinsed with hot water and blend well again. Smear it all over your face with your fingers, except do not cover your eyes. Leave it on your face for 15 minutes, then rinse it off.
Cucumber Facial
1 cucumber
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon witch hazel (you can buy this in any drug store)
1 egg white, beaten with an electric beater until fluffy.
Peel the cucumber and run it through a blender or a food processor. Pour the cucumber pulp into a colander or strainer and force it through, catching the liquid that comes out in a bowl underneath. Combine the cucumber liquid with the lemon juice and the witch hazel. Stir it and add the beaten egg white gently. Put it on your face and leave it on for 15 to 25 minutes, then rinse off.
Refreshing Fruit Facials
PEACH TIGHTENING MASK
1 Peach, ripe, peeled, pitted
1 Egg white
Whip the peach and egg white together in a blender until smooth. Gently pat the mixture all over your face. Relax for 30 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water.
APPLE MASK FOR NORMAL SKIN
1 Apple, cored & quartered
2 T Honey
Drop the apple pieces into a food processor and chop. Add honey and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Pat the mixture onto your face with a light tapping motion, tapping until the honey feels tacky. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse.
CUCUMBER MASK FOR OILY SKIN
1/2 Cucumber
1 Egg white
1 T Lemon juice
1 tsp mint
Puree everything and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm, then cool water.
STRAWBERRY DRAWING MASK
1/2 c Strawberries, very ripe
1/4 c Cornstarch
Mix strawberries and cornstarch together to make a paste and apply it to your face, avoiding the delicate area around your eyes. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with cool water.
CITRUS FRESHNER
2 cups boiling water
1 vitamin C (a preservative)
Lemon peel (zest) from 2 lemons
Dissolve the vitamin in water. In a glass bowl put the lemon zest and pour the water over them. Let it sit over night. Remove the zest and put in a spray bottle. You can use any type of citrus peel.
BLEMISHED SKIN MASK
1 Tomato, ripe, chopped
1 tsp Lemon juice
1 T Instant style oatmeal or old-fashioned rolled oats
Blend everything until just combined. Apply to skin, making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay on blemished areas: cheeks, forehead, or chin. If necessary, add a bit more oatmeal to thicken the mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then scrub it off with a clean washcloth dipped in warm water.
Salt is one of the best antibacterial ingredients ever, and it is slightly abrasive. Lemon juice exfoliates as it cleans.
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup sea salt
Enough lemon juice to make a paste
Combine ingredients in a bowl. Dab gently on your face with fingertips or a cotton ball, then massage into your skin, being careful to avoid your eyes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Helpful Hints:
If you have very delicate or sensitive skin, omit the salt and use the lemon juice diluted half and half with water. Pat gently onto skin, then rinse thoroughly.
Simple Solution:

INGREDIENTS
1 banana, just ripe
1 tablespoon honey
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon wheat germ oil
1 tablespoon finely powdered oats
1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, if mask will not be used immediately)
1 drop each rose and Melissa essential oils (optional)
1. Peel and mash banana. Add honey, egg yolk, wheat germ oil, oats, and lemon juice, if used, and mash further to form a smooth, creamy paste.
2. If mask is too thick, add a bit of distilled water, and stir until smooth.
3. Add essential oils last, and stir to mix well.
4. To use, apply to clean face and neck, avoiding eye and mouth areas. Rest for 10 minutes, or longer if your skin is very dry. Rinse with warm water, and follow with toner and moisturizer, if desired. Use mask within a few hours of making.

This is my favorite honey facial mask recipe! It works incredibly well :p

Raw honey works wonders because not only is it natural, but it has anti-bacterial properties that works just as great and probably better than any lab-made cream in the market. I Highly recommend honey facial masks.

Biore heating mask is really good for any type of skin
you can also DIY you own masks depending on what skin you have one day 2 another!
COCONUTTY ABOUT YOU MASQUE
You'll Need:
-Coconut oil (available at health food stores and some supermarkets)
-Hot water
-A towel
Make the Masque:
Pour enough coconut oil to spread upon your face into a small bowl. Using your fingertips, massage the coconut oil gently into clean skin. Next, take a towel, dip it into hot water (not too hot though - be careful!) and wring it out. Spread the warmed towel over your face, tilt your head back (or lie down) and chill out for 30 seconds to one minute. Repeat this process three times. Then rinse your face with warm to lukewarm water.
HONEY I USED AN EGG MASQUE
You'll Need:
-1 tablespoon powdered milk
-1 egg
-1 teaspoon honey
Make the Masque:
Crack the egg and separate the yolk and white into two separate bowls. (Your mom can lend a hand if you're bad at this!) Stir the egg yolk gently with a fork to break it up. Then clean off the fork and use it to beat the egg white for about a minute, until it gets very frothy. Gently mix in the yolk and the other ingredients. Apply to your face using fingertips. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
FACIAL MASQUES FOR OILY SKIN
ORANGE YOU BEAUTIFUL MASQUE
You'll Need:
-1/2 cup dry oatmeal
-Juice of half an orange
-1 teaspoon olive oil
-1 egg white (discard the yolk)
Make the Masque:
Mix together all the ingredients in a small bowl, until well-blended. Glop the mixture onto your face with fingertips, smoothing it into an even paste across your skin. Leave on for 10 minutes while you relax, then rinse off with warm water.
BERRY BEAUTIFUL MASQUE
You'll Need:
-8 large strawberries
-3 Tablespoons honey
Make the Masque:
Remove stems from strawberries and mash them up into a pulp. (Skip the food processor - you don't want to over-blend the berries. Just chop them up and smush the bits with a big fork). Gently mix in the honey until it's blended in with the berry pulp. Apply with fingertips in an upward circular motion on the face and neck. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
FACIAL MASQUES FOR NORMAL SKIN
GREEN DREAM MASQUE
You'll Need:
-1/2 a very ripe avocado
-1 teaspon vegetable oil
Make the Masque:
Smush up the avocado in a bowl and mix in the oil. Apply to the face with fingertips, making upward circles as you smooth it on face and neck. Avoid the eye and lip area. Leave on for 10 minutes, then cleanse it off with warm water.
BANANA CREAM MASQUE
You'll Need:
-1/2 a very ripe banana
-1 Tablespoon honey
-2 Tablespoons sour cream
Make the Masque:
Mash up the banana in a small bowl. Stir in the honey and sour cream, mixing until the ingredients are well-blended. Apply to face thickly and let set for 10 minutes. Then rinse off the masque with lukewarm water.
FACIAL MASQUES FOR BLEMISHED OR SENSITIVE SKIN
TOMATO TOMAHTO MASQUE
You'll Need:
-1 ripe tomato
-1 teaspoon lemon juice
-1 Tablespooon dry oatmeal
Make the Masque:
Remove the tomato stem and cut the tomato into big chunks. Toss into the blended or food processor with the other ingredients. DON'T over-blend and make it runny! The mixture should be thick enough to stick on your face. (If you do overmix it by mistake, just add a bit more oatmeal to thicken the masque). Apply to face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then wipe it off with a clean washcloth dipped in warm water. Splash face with cool water to seal pores and finish the treatment.
COLD CREAMY MASQUE
You'll Need:
-1 cup natural yogurt such as Biobest (NOT low-fat!)
-1/2 cup dry oatmeal
Make the Masque:
Grab the yogurt out of the fridge (using it while still cold is key to this masque's effectiveness). Mix it with the oats and pat it onto the skin with clean fingers. Leave on for 15 minutes, then gently cleanse face with a warm washcloth.
hope i helped! xox
