I have e-mail correspondance (via Yahoo!) with other users that I don't know. They all seem very nice and friendly. But do I need to be more careful because I have never seen the other person. What information would you NEVER give ?

NEVER give any personal info. real name, address, city, phone. school, NOTHING.

you have no idea how easy it is for the person on the other end of the email to find you with the smallest amount of informations. AND they will stay on the internet with you a LONG time pretending to be your friend until they finally STRIKE.

TRUST NO ONE.

give no info

even if they are not after you, they might be able to get enough info to steal enough information to ruin your financial identity or your parents and you could be financially ruined for many many years.

just because they seem nice and friendly it doesnt meen thats who they REALLY are. you should only trust people who u know personally. never give out your phone number adress social security number is a big no. the thing with the internet is anyone can say who they want to be but be someone else they can say they are the opposite sex and not be.

don't trust ANYONE you don't know on the internet. never give out your last name, your location, or phone number, or any personal info for that matter.
