Hi
I think most men do dress to impress women on the whole.
The scruffy ones obviously dont care but most guys try to look nice... even if its just jeans n tshirt they always gel their hair put on aftershave etc... you smell guys aorund and some smell so good!
So I think guys do make that effort.
I think one of the other people said in their answer - girls dress to impress other girls. I totally agree with this. Us girls do dress to impress other girls... not because we are trying to pull them but its a convidence thing... so that we feel we look good and that they dont look better - sort of thing!
We are all very odd creatures arent we :)

Well some men do dress up for women but I think the main reason that more women dress up is that instinctively we know that men are more visually oriented so men are attracted based on looks more easily than women.

Men do dress to impress women sometimes.
Also women dress to impress other women most of the time I believe.

i think women dress to impress other women. who else is going to compliment another woman on having the newest purse, make-up, fashion trend, etc!

my ex-bf's best friend told me that he used to try on 3 or 4 different outfits before we went on a date because he wanted to impress me and look good!
and women ALWAYS dresss to impress!

Because men don't have to compete with sporting events for time and attention. We do.

women gown up for adult adult males because of the fact they frequently choose to grant impact on the different intercourse because of the fact everyones objective in existence is to discover a soul mate so i can atleast talk for the lady and say they do!
